Where as many intending candidates could not file their nomination papers due to the above disruption. Where as along with complaints made by the political parties made by some nominations papers are allegedly could not submit before panchayat returning officer have been annexed. Where as some political parties wanted to submit some nomination papers today, the office of the state election commission which cannot be done as per law as it is supposed to be submitted before panchayat returning officer only at SDO office or BDO office and where as Honourable Supreme Court of India has been directed to the commission in its solemn order connection with writ petition 302/2108 dated 9th April considered that grievance played by any party or by any candidate as the case may be and pass appropriate order so that intending candidate may not be deprived of their chance to contest the panchayat election. Now therefore the Commission, in exercise of the power conferred upon it by provisio in sub-section (2) of the Section 46 of the West Bengal Panchayat Election Act 2003 here by extend the last date of making nomination for one day that is on 10th April 2018 from 11am upto 3pm.
