Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu are the new "best buds" in the global politicosphere. Gone are the glory days when Modi and former US president Barack Obama used to fist bump and make merry. Modi’s visit to Israel has been one of the most significant (though some argue that the significance is definitely not positive) foreign trips the PM has made after taking office. 

Modi, along with Netanyahu, visited Haifa on July 6 to pay respects to the Indian soldiers who helped liberate Israel in 1918, after which the two leaders made their way to the Dor beach in Haifa. As can be seen in the many pictures and videos that have documented this, Modi and his new bestie are very much on the "throes" of a new bromance.

The two of them walking on the beach may as well be from a rom-com. The two world leaders bonding had another effect: They turned into memes on Indian Twitter. And what memes they are!
