Twitter gets a free kick over Baba Ramdev's newest yogic move
He may be the Power Yogi and India's undisputed FMCG baron, but Baba Ramdev is never far away from the hilarity superhighway. His swashbuckling moves in the ubiquitous saffron robe, that all-time lungi dance with ancient acrobatics may make power yogini Shilpa Shetty his best friend on stage, but when it comes to India's tempestuous social media, the Baba is a trollbait.
He was recently photographed attempting to play some football at a Delhi charity event that saw members of Parliament square it off with Bollywood stars.
The charity match, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the national capital, seemed to get its kicks on with a Ramdev going the David Beckham way. Or at least, fail spectacularly that that, alarming the Twitterati to some high-voltage ROFL time.

The Patanjali honcho may be taking the stock markets by storm and making a noodle of our collective apathy towards any bodily movement, but seeing him play football could be therapeutic indeed.
Laughter therapy, of course.
The match proceeds will go to the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Andolan and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
