As Rahul Gandhi was chanting #ArharModi in Parliament and winning Twitter hearts, a super cool monkey was just chilling inside the Parliameent House library in its Central Hall.

According to a Times of India report, the monkey walked around inside the reading room for about half an hour.

He jumped on tables and climbed on things, pretty much like the folks in the adjacent room.

The library is a reading room meant for MPs and journalists and one look at the ongoing cultural upheavals in the country is enough to prove that not many MPs and journalists are doing a lot of reading these days.

We should really be thankful to the monkey, as at least someone is using the taxpayer's money.

After getting bored, the monkey walked out like a boss through the main door and finally left by the gate of the building meant for VIPs.

The security staff were bystanders as they had no means of catching the swag machine without the help of langoors, who had been previously deployed to help deal with the monkey menace in Lutyens Delhi.

But the langoors were let go in June after India Inc took a hit and had to let go of the non-human employees.

The monkeys have been bossing around the Parliament ever since.

This is simian business alright. Parliament mustn't be averse to some monkey baat now.
