Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday made explosive claims on the Jawaharlal Nehru (JNU) row by saying whatever happened at the university had support of the chief of the Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hafiz Sayeed.
"The incident of JNU had the support of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed. It's an unfortunate incident," said Rajnath Singh.
Attacking the Opposition for politicising the matter, Singh said, "I appeal to all the political parties that whenever such situation arises, where anti-India slogans are raised, the entire nation must speak in one voice." Read more.
