Finally a long weekend is ahead of us. Thanks to the festivities for falling on the right days and giving us the much needed long break. It is probably the best time to binge watch every new release if you don’t have any other plans.

With Rakhsha Bandhan and Independence Day around the weekend, the extended weekend will provide you enough time to finish all the new as well as pending shows and movies you have been waiting to watch.

But there is a big obstacle that everyone has faced at some point or the other. And it is: deciding what to watch. Many times we spend hours surfing the OTT platforms deciding what to watch and what not to. To help you cross this obstacle, we have made a list of shows you can watch over this weekend:

Shows to watch this weekend:

1. Indian matchmaking season 2: The season 2 of Indian Matchmaking released on August 10. Matchmaker Seema Taparia is yet again helping people based in the US and India find the right partner. There are many old and new characters in show this time.

If you have watched the season 1 and didn’t like it (like the maximum audience), then it can be on your hate watch list.

You can watch the show on Netflix.

2. Never Have I Ever season 3: Never Have I Ever is a story of an Indian-American teen, Devi Vishwakumar. The show is a mix of family drama, romantic twists, teenager issues and much more.

The season 3 is supposed to focus more on the romantic life of Devi. The new season is releasing on August 12. Till then you can also watch or re-watch the previous seasons.

The show will air on Netflix on August 12.

3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 8: The last season of the show will release on OTT on August 13 on Netflix.  Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American police procedural comedy series which was released in 2013 on Fox.

There are a total of 10 episodes in the series which aired on August 12, 2021 on NBC. Now you can finally watch the show on OTT.

4. Peacemaker: Peacemaker, starring WWE’s John Cena, is a superhero television series. It released on January 13, 2022 on HBO Max.

James Gunn's Peacemaker will be now releasing in India on August 14. You can watch it on Amazon Prime.

Peacemaker is a spin-off of The Suicide Squad and continues the story of the characters.

5. I Am Groot: Marvel’s I Am Groot is a mini-series based on the life of everyone’s favourite little tree. It is the second animated series by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first season released on August 10 on Disney+.
