After gold and money, the time has come when thieves are stealing anything and everything. In a recent incident, a robbery of chocolates worth Rs 17 lakh was reported in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Around 150 cartons of Cadbury chocolate bars were stolen from a godown in Lucknow. The thieves stole the entire stock in the godown, and also took away the CCTV cameras.

Cadbury distributor Rajendra Singh Sidhu has filed an FIR and has urged the residents to share any possible information they may have.

Many of us might be wondering if the thieves will be selling them at cheaper prices.

This bizarre incident is not the only one where chocolates were the target. Many times chocolates-loving thieves have stolen nothing but chocolates in huge quantities.

Chocolate thefts around the world:

1. Chocolates with Nutella stolen: In August 2017, around 20 tonnes of Nutella and chocolates worth Rs 37 lakh were stolen in Germany. The police believed that a truck or a van must have been used to execute theft at this level.

Here's a glimpse of the theives (not the real ones) after the robbery:
