Farideh Moradkhani, the niece of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a well-known activist, has been arrested after she posted a in response a video in which she called the world leaders to cut ties with Tehran.
What was in that video?
The video was posted by her brother on Friday (November 25) after Moradkhan was arrested on Wednesday (November 23). Soon the video started spreading, and went viral, showcasing the miserable conditions of women in Iran's regime.
She also said that right now the Iranians need the support of the outside world.

Who is Farideh Moradkhani?
Farideh Moradkhani is an engineer whose late father, Ali Tehrani, was a prominent opposition figure who married Khamenei's sister. Tehrani died last month, and her brother Mahmoud Moradkhani lives in France. She is a prominent civil rights activist in Iran who has been standing up for women's rights for years now.
