When constipated in life, move on. Lessons from Piku and Tanu Weds Manu Returns

Writing and talking about constipation and bowel movements is in vogue these days. A big round of applause for the Piku and its writer-director duo. Because of those two beautiful people, talking about bodily fluids has become a tad fashionable. I must thank them before I start stitching words into lines.

Constipation is a pain, we all know that. Be it the constipation of your tummy or your life. Both have the power to simply ruin your life, they both can make you sit in the corner with a sullen face. Both can make you lose your appetite for food and as well for life. What to do, when constipated? Not really going to dissect it down to the level of grossness. Let's stick to the macro observations. So the issue could be sorted out with two words from another hindi film which came out last week, Tanu weds Manu Returns, which says: "Move on". Now, let me put together these two films together and connect them in a fashion which suits me. "If you are constipated, move on!".

How does it sum it up the cure? Okay let's just take it point by point. Let's see what constipation is first of all. When the flow stops, precisely. Be it the bodily liquids, or emotions. When your system or life becomes dry, craves for water and raw things (things as they are or as we cook them up). When one consumes too much of synthetics - be it food, people or emotions. Basically when you turn your back towards nature, you become constipated. A remarkable thing about suffering from it is, the more you suffer from it the more you intake/use things which is hardly natural and result is, even more worse. Think about all those laxatives, digestives, powders or think about malls, binge drinking and eating, shopping spree on completely unnecessary things and filling their entourage with completely unwanted entities.

So, if that's the case, how "move on" is going to help? Here the phrase "move on" denotes two things. First, the constipated belly needs a moving on - needs movement, exercises, running, jogging etc. This will ensure that your body is testing itself and trying to be good (of course, this goes with a good balanced diet). Have you ever thought or experienced that when you are stuck in life, unable to make a decision or completely lost - a road trip helped? A trekking, or a hiking trip may be? Just moving away from your regular mundane life often gives a solution to chronic issues! Movement and locomotion clear life's constipation too.

Another meaning of it is, which more important in my opinion, the moving on is usually a movement towards nature. Once you have taken the first step, you would see that you are drawn towards - nature. Yes, from her call to herself completely. Shunning what is not natural, what is completely plastic, from the food you consume to the emotions choking you and the people blocking your heart and soul.

Consume natural, be with people who are natural and not fake, emote what comes naturally to you so that there is no toxic, pretentious residues inside which may come back to haunt you. Again going back to Piku, let's just sum it up in one line - "Motion se hi emotion".
