Five reasons why Sylvester Stallone wants to work with Salman Khan

We all love Sylvester Stallone, and Salman Khan loves him too. That’s precisely a big reason for Bhai’s fans to rejoice. The new mutual admiration club has two elite members of the biggest film industry caught in PDA. The two star icons are well known for their good looks, chiselled body and massive fan following. It’s elating to see that Twitter turned into a platform where Salman and Stallone got to interact and praise each other.

It’s time that the likes of Arjun Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Ejaz Khan and singer Abhijeet move over, and give way to the new "Salman Ka Fan", who is none other than Rambo himself. The new bromance will make everyone forget the sizzling chemistry that they saw earlier between two big heroes - when Salman-Shah Rukh Khan came together in Karan Arjun or when Salman-Aamir Khan were paired together for Andaz Apna Apna. Film buffs should fasten their seat belts to see Salman-Stallone pairing in an action film, preferably in the Expendables franchise, as suggested by Stallone.

If things go as per the plan we will soon see a historical extravaganza on screen, which will be a progression of the action genre to its next level. We try to imagine what made Stallone decide upon working with Salman Khan:

#Sly suffered amnesia: Sylvester Stallone has forgotten his last Bollywood outing when he had played saviour to a damsel (Kareena Kapoor) in the disastrous Akshay Kumar-starrer Kambakkht Ishq. He had mouthed a Hindi dialogue in the film, which was touted by director Sabbir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala to be one of the biggest ‘international love stories’.

#Sly realised Bhai’s star power: Sly clearly got startled noticing the mind-boggling adulation commanded by Salman Khan, during the court trial for the 2002 hit and run verdict, earlier this month. It’s no mean achievement to get a heroic welcome by millions, after one has committed a crime that killed one and injured a few.

#Sly’s Twitter followers hiked after Salman’s tweet: Salman Khan took to Twitter to urge his 12 million Twitter followers, follow “someone as big as” Sylvester Stallone. The ‘bahar ka' (from a foreign land) hero worth following according to Salman was "@TheSlyStallone - inko follow karo (follow him)". This, apparently, increased Stallone Twitter followers and he decided to do an action film.

#Hollywood loves bad boys too: The world secretly loves bad boys. Salman is no exception as Hollywood had had its own bad boys club, who had a brush with the law and yet came back to power and continued with the arrogance. Robert Downey Jr walking out of a Channel 4 interview, in London, after being questioned about his past history of drug and alcohol abuse, during the promotion of Avengers: Age of Ultron, is a recent example.

#Bollywood –Hollywood mashup: Sylvester plans to work in an action film which would be on the lines of Dabangg meets Rambo. Let’s re-imagine a few working titles – Ek Tha Expendables, Expendable Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi-Expendables bhai-bhaijaan and more.
