Quit pro quo of Rahul Yadav

To quit or not to quit is not always the question. Sometimes, it is has he quit or has he not quit? Or, if the gentleman in question is Rahul Yadav, CEO of Housing, it could very well be: Is he going to quit or has he already quit? Or even: Will they ask him to quit? Or, more pragmatically, for officers on the board of the beleaguered company: Should I myself just quit? Maybe even: Please, sir, let me quit? (That quickly also stretches into a wailing "Let me outta here..."). But let us not make light of the achievements of this brilliant son of the real estate industry. Since he arrived on the scene, Infy CEO Vishal Sikka has given up, quite literally, sleeping on the job and Infy stocks are on the rise again. Since Yadav has been bouncing off walls, builders say they have been forced to reinforce cement improving on site construction, making consumers in these earthquake-fearful times, extremely happy, despite super built-ups. And employees, let's grant him that, have not only been made richer (one hopes Housing stocks don't crash, though Gujjubhai brokers this morning on Dalal Street are on the contrary breaking out Kashmira soda in expectation of an inexplicable surge), but also check their official mails more periodically since they have become Gossip Central and the most fun anyone has been having in the corporate world since Phaneesh Murthy. HR is ecstatic last we heard at this newfound formula to office bonding, though its structure as a victim group has been noted as worrying in some forums. There is some talk of a support group. In the IIT and IIM applicant group discussions, the quieter kinds are finally being seen as capable of contributing something to someone, so the talk-over-the-din people don't get to elbow everyone out anymore. And if you're feeling for Yadav, don't. And don't quote me on this, but we hear ET Now is looking to get him on board to spearhead the new drive for TRPs at new Prez Arnab Goswami's behest. The prime time show, titled FuseHour, to air from Diwali. (Sorry Arnab! You know I love ya...! xoxo..)
