Love Tips from Priyanka-Nick! Is your love-life getting boring? Here's star tips to fix it!

Stop snoozing through your marriage, here’s the secret behind making your relationship work.

The world is a rat race and so is your relationship — but that’s a good thing.

We live in a society where marriage is considered the endpoint of a relationship. The courtship and dating period is an exciting time that builds up to the ultimate frenzied culmination in a wedding.

Then what?

Nobody really knows what really happens after you get married, especially with so many bad reviews floating around.

Well, then life becomes like you are living in an RGV horror movie — slow, painful and mind-numbing. I kid you; it is not all that bad. If you’re lucky, there are times when you can have scintillating discussions about who left the damp towel on the bed, who ate the last laddoo left in the box that you were thinking about all day or just who is going to get up early to open the door for the maid.

But all said and done, you have found yourself a flatmate for life and you might as well add some spark into this mix. And the best way to do that is by going into Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar mode. Competing for space, time or even gifts is a great way to remain entertained — and not end up like the clichéd married couple that all newlyweds swear not to be but eventually become.

Case in point — Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s oft-envied married life. He is America’s sweetheart, she is a Bollywood star — and yet, they seem to have found a way to keep things interesting. In an interview with film critic Anupama Chopra, PeeCee revealed, “We're competitive like in a weird way. Just this afternoon we were competitive about something... like who gets more space in the room for getting dressed. My team is about 12 people, so are his, so my team goes in and get the biggest space and then his team has to... so we compete in funny ways like that."

However, this does not mean that you turn your domestic life into Takeshi’s Castle where you both are constantly on your toes to be the winner! Start off small by including tangible competitions such as a game of cards over wine, supporting different sports teams or just see who manages to reach home first. Then, you can move to cheesier, Nickyanka-level of games with who makes the other laugh.

When all else fails, take the competing to social media, just like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s husband, Anand. Probably feeling competitive about wifey chilling in Cannes, he reportedly took to Instagram to share an edited photograph of himself to look like he also attended the film festival!
