Floating on Luxury: Adastra

Touted as one of the most beautiful yachts in the world, the Adastra Super Yacht priced at $15 Million, effectively marries beauty and brawn. Sporting three gigantic hulls, it not only looks commanding, but also makes for a highly fuel efficient water vessel.

Standard billionaire parametres, this dream vessel is 42.5m long with a keen attention to detail. Weighing about 52 tonnes, she acquires a top speed of 22.5 knots. It is designed to accommodate nine guests in four suites with an onboard crew of six. But, the icing on the cake is the vessel's iPad control feature. The captain or crew can control the yacht's propulsion, navigation and onboard support operations with the help of an interface on an iPad from up to 50 metres. Now that's wireless luxury.

A Legacy of Romance: The Ritz and Chanel

The legendary Ritz hotel in Paris, closing in on its reopening date this year, has confirmed that the first-ever Chanlel Spa will open at the end of the year at the Ritz Club. The Chanel au Ritz Paris will be dedicated to their line of skincare products.

The hotel will open its doors with 71 suites, including 15 historic one-of-a-kind prestige suites, and 71 rooms. Renowned interior architect Thierry W Despont is overseeing the restoration which will unveil three restaurants, three bars, including the famed Bar Hemingway, and gorgeous gardens and terraces with retractable roofs and floor heating to be enjoyed all year around. École Ritz Escoffier will boast a third demonstration kitchen and the historic Salon Proust with its wood-burning fireplace will offer the Ritz afternoon tea.

The hotel will also have a discreet tunnel, which will be made available for completely private guest arrivals and departures.

Date with history: Surf City USA to break two Guinness World Records

For those who love the sun, sand and surf have a golden opportunity to witness history in the making, when Surf City USA, will attempt to break two Guinness World Records on June 20, 2015.

New global records for both "World's Largest Surfboard" and "Most People Riding a Surfboard at Once" will be performed by More than 60 professional surfers, former US Open of Surfing winners, Surfing Walk and Surfers' Hall of Fame inductees, celebrities, and local heroes. With a custom-built 42-foot long surfboard to ride one epic wave at the famed Huntington Beach Pier and a crowd of thousands, spectator sport will never be the same again.

An Art Affair: Bonhams' Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art sale

The Bonhams' Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art sale will comprise of 45 exceptional works from an enviable roster of Indian and South Asian modern masters, including SH Raza, Francis Newton Souza, MF Husain, Bhupen Khakhar, Jamini Roy, KG Subramanyan, Krishen Khanna and VS Gaitonde. In addition, the auction will also include an impressive selection of contemporary works from celebrated artists such as Nalini Malani, Bhupen Khakhar and Rashid Rana. Many of the works come from private collections with estimates ranging from £1,500 to £60,000 ($94,000).

This truly remarkable package is being offered by seven participating Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) hotels: Helvetia & Bristol, Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy, Villa Medici, Villa La Massa, Villa San Michele, Castello del Nero, Portrait Ferragamo. It is related to one of the most important international events, the Night Fight Charity Italy which supports the Mohamed Ali Foundation. The event will take place in Florence in September. The organisation is handled by famed singer Andrea Bocelli and his wife. Last year, the guest list included Lionel Richie, Robert de Niro, John Legend, Sofia Loren and George Clooney. This package includes, among the various activities, three nights in a LHW suite in Florence, one dinner at Bocelli's house (150 people are invited) and a Gala dinner at Palazzo Vecchio (250 people are allowed). While LHW is the official partner for the accommodations, the cost of the package starts from €42,500 for two people.
