[Shocking] Bangalore woman abducted by molester outside her PG

It's a crying shame that Bangalore, a city often dubbed as India's Silicon Valley, is mostly in the headlines these days for sexual crimes. In a shocking video, the CCTV footage of a woman in Bangalore being grabbed from behind and carried off by an unidentified man has once demonstrated the ugly face of the city.

The caught-on-camera abduction leading to alleged molestation has sent a shiver down the national spine for sheer brazenness and audacity of the assaulter. The 25-year-old woman, who works at a beauty clinic in Bangalore's Kalyan Nagar area and was talking on the phone when the incident took place, has alleged that the accoster and abductor or sexually assaulted her.

The woman, who hails from Manipur, has alleged that the police took no action against the accused and even refused to register a complaint in her case. The cops eventually registered a case after the woman was forced to produce the CCTV footage.
