&lt;p id='p_1'&gt;Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's seven-day visit to India starts tomorrow, and is aimed at intensifying defence and counter-terror cooperation besides expanding trade and investment ties. India and Canada share a strategic partnership underpinned by the values of democracy, pluralism, equality for all and rule of law. Strong people-to-people contacts and the presence of a large Indian Diaspora in Canada provide a strong foundation for the relationship.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p id='p_2'&gt;Trudeau will be taking stops in Agra, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi. He will connect will various Indian leaders in government and business and aims to promote women empowerment. Trudeau will hold sessions with students in India and visit various landmarks including Agra's Taj Mahal, Gujarat's Akshardham Temple and Amritsar's Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p id='p_3'&gt;Prime Minister Trudeau and Modi will proclaim the close friendship between India and Canada. Both the prime ministers will also be discussing new ways to create good middle class jobs for Canadians and Indians alike.
