The court has ordered a floor test on April 29, to test the confidence of Harish Rawat government.
Describing the court's verdict as a victory of people of the state, Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat criticised the BJP for the political crisis.
President’s Rule was imposed in Uttarakhand in the wake of a rebellion in the ruling Congress. Amid growing dissent against the leadership of Harish Rawat, nine Congress MLAs, had joined hands with the opposition BJP, triggering a political crisis in the state.
