Apple hit 3 trillion dollars: 4 times when companies have been more profitable than countries

Apple Inc became the first company ever to hit a US $3 trillion stock market value just before ending the day a little below that milestone. That's higher than the GDP of US, China, India AND Japan. At the current exchange rate, India's estimated GDP is Rs 197 lakh crore in 2020-21, which is just under US $2.7 trillion. But this is not the first time a company has been more 'profitable' than a country.
