Bigg Boss 11 blog: Hina Khan explains why Vikas Gupta is jealous of her
Priyank says Vikas was planning a love-triangle with Benafsha for the game.
The housemates, it seems, can’t forget Benafsha Soonawalla, who got evicted last month. Or, at least Vikas Gupta and Priyank Sharma can’t.
This week’s luxury-budget task (BB Lab), which allows the housemates to buy grocery items, was all about making one another emotional. While on Tuesday’s episode it was Vikas, Shilpa, Arshi and Luv’s turn to make Hina, Hiten, Akash and Priyank emotional, on Wednesday it was just the opposite. But the common factor was Benafsha.
Vikas had earlier blamed Priyank for Benafsha’s eviction. Yesterday, Priyank said Vikas was planning for a fake love triangle with Benafsha and Priyank for the show. Though it was just meant to make Vikas angry during the luxury-budget task, the revelation left everyone clueless until Priyank clarified to Hina that it was not true.
Everything is for camera
In an attempt to make “robot” Vikas angry, Hina let out a secret yesterday. She said Vikas had wanted to team up with Hina. But then, Hina never trusted Vikas and didn’t want to join him. According to Hina, this is the reason why Vikas upped his ante against Hina. “Who are you to talk about my age? Did I ever ask your age? You thought I will get scared. Sorry! I am not scared of you,” Hina said to Vikas referring to Vikas’ earlier comment that Hina hid her real age. "Everybody is here for popularity. You are a producer. But are you that famous? So, you have come here to become famous. So, don’t tell others that they are doing everything for the camera," Hina said. But nothing seemed to make Vikas angry.
Hiten and Priyank’s role-play
Toeing the line of Luv’s cross-dressing, which evoked thunderous laughter from the "robots" in the earlier episode, Hiten and Priyank dressed up like women. But it turned out to be a damp squib, though both of them were looking fine, and behind Hiten’s appearance were Hina's efforts.
Comedy versus vulgarity
Shilpa said there is a thin line between comedy and vulgarity and Akash’s attempt to make them laugh crossed the line. His bare-body dance didn’t evoke laughter. It was disgusting to the “robots”, and to the viewers as well. Later, to instigate Arshi, Priyank asked Akash to carry out his orders like standing, jumping into the pool, coming out of the pool, hammering home the fact that Arshi follows Vikas’ orders just like that, mindlessly. But it too flopped.
Shilpa, Vikas, Arshi, Luv win luxury-budget task
Given the bland performance of the other team, it was obvious that the team comprising Shilpa, Vikas, Arshi and Luv would win the task. While Akash was blamed for spoiling the task, he said that there were senior actors like Hiten in his team, who did not object to his "vulgar" act.
Hiten, too, admitted that he should have stopped Akash and Priyank from going over the top. But one wonders whether he deliberately did that to make team Vikas win.
