Bigg Boss 11 blog: How Hina Khan became the captain when nobody actually wanted to
The captaincy task on Friday (December 22) ended with a twist as Hina Khan, who was despised by all inside the house, became the captain. Surprising enough? More surprises are in store for as this weekend there will be live voting to select the first semi-finalist of Bigg Boss season 11.
Bigg Boss warns Akash, Vikas
Fans were up in arms demanding immediate eviction of Vikas Gupta after he seemingly attacked Akash Dadlani. But nothing of that sort happened. Provoked by Akash’s continuous abuse, Vikas got up from his bed and there was a heated altercation. Yes, both of them pushed each other. But no one was evicted. Bigg Boss called them and warned them for the last time. Both of them apologised to Bigg Boss and the matter was soon forgotten.
Shilpa apologises to Hina
This captaincy task brought Shilpa Shinde and Hina Khan closer as they were united by their hatred for Vikas Gupta. Hina was also supporting Shilpa for this week’s captaincy. But there’s good news for those who loved watching the duo hugging together. Hina was seen telling Luv that Shilpa apologised for making fun of Hina’s tears when Hina’s boyfriend Rocky Aggarwal came to the house. “She said sorry to me and I also apologised if I have ever hurt her. But she took the initiative after I told her that I was hurt by her mocking,” Hina said to Luv.

Those thinking that Priyank and Luv made Hina the captain should get their facts clear !! They made her captain so that they can save themselves as if shilxpa would become then she would have saved Akash & Puneesh !! They both did what they did to save their asses !! #BB11

After “BB Poultry farm task” Hina, Shilpa, Priyank, Luv became contenders for this week’s captaincy. Bigg Boss gave another task to them in which a huge photo frame was set up in the lawn area of the house. The four contestants had to stand inside the frame. The game was the person who could stand there for the longest would become the captain. And as usual, everybody proved their zeal to become the captain.
Akash and Punnesh tried to make the game interesting by pouring oil and cream where they were standing so that someone fell down, but all in vain. Again Bigg Boss had to intervene and he gave two hours to select a captain, failing which again there would be no captain in the house.
While Vikas and Arshi were supporting Priyank, Akash and Puneesh were in favour of Shilpa. Since it was a tie, the four captaincy-contenders were asked to choose a name apart from his or her own. Shilpa supported Priyank, Hina supported Shilpa, Luv supported Priyank, and Priyank supported Shilpa. It was again a tie, but Hina said she can support Priyank.
But in a twist, Luv proposed Hina’s name and Priyank readily agreed to it, despite their huge fight. Shilpa too didn’t oppose and Hina became the captain. Hina took a moment to understand what actually happened. She also said to Luv that she was not feeling good about the captaincy, thrown upon her like that. “You should be thankful to us,” Luv said to Hina, which made Hina more clueless about the new game plan.
Had Shilpa become the captain, she would have saved Puneesh or Akash. Eliminating either of them is now more crucial to the housemates because if they stay, somebody else would have to leave the way Hiten Tejwani had to.
