Five reasons why I can't wait to watch Tamasha

The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer Tamasha was released last evening and curiosity over the former couple's onscreen chemistry has made sure the teaser has already received over a million views. While their crackling chemistry continues to be a big plus for the film, here are a few more reasons the trailer gave us to look forward to the film's November release.

The familiarity of an Imitiaz Ali film

The tag line for the film - "Why always the same story" - might have backfired for Imtiaz Ali, with most viewers asking him exactly that. It's light years away from Ranbir and Katrina Kaif's tight-lipped togetherness, and Deepika-Ranveer's are-they-aren't-they status. Read more here.

Even a bad year is good for Ranbir Kapoor's Bollywood career

Ranbir Kapoor turns 33 today. This year has not been good for him, given the mega disaster that Bombay Velvet turned out to be. Yet, if the buzz around his upcoming Tamasha is to be believed, Kapoor continues to command a loyal fan following.

Having started his career alongside Sonam Kapoor in 2007's Saawariya, Kapoor's first film released on the same day as Deepika's first, Om Shanti Om. Eight years and a failed romance later, the couple will regroup in Tamasha after their immensely successful 2013 outing, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Read more here.
