20 famous Bollywood dialogues no one has ever said IRL

Bollywood is a box of surprises. You never know what’s inside. Many movies give us the best dialogues, whereas some deliver the absolute worst. While we use some of these lines in our daily lives, others are too hard to believe and we can never dare to say those.

Dialogues like Kabhi kabhi lagta hai apun hi bhagwan hai, Matlab Aisa bilkul immediate nahi soche hain but...sochenge, Main apni favourite hoon, Tussi ja rahe ho? Tussi na jao! and so on - have become a part of our language.

On the other hand, there are these dialogues that are popular for only one reason: being so abnormally over-the-top. And we could never relate to them in real life. Here's a list of 20 such dialogues for you.

20 famous Bollywood dialogues that no one has ever used:

1. EK CHUTKI SINDOOR KI KEEMAT TUM KYA JAANO RAMESH BABU

Deepika Padukone's Ek Chutki Sindoor dialogue from Om Shanti Om is something we can never erase from memory. But we are short of events where we can fit this.

2. BASANTI INN KUTTO KE SAAMNE MAT NAACHNA

Imagine you are at a party with your boyfriend and he says "Basanti, inn kutto ke saamne mat nachna!" Noooo! This is the best I could think of because this dialogue from Sholay cannot be used in any possible scenario.

3. FAT?! P.H.A.T: PRETTY HOT AND TEMPTING

Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was quite self-absorbed. The word fat was spelt PHAT for her and it meant Pretty Hot And Tempting. For all the guys out there: honestly, we girls don’t use such abbreviations in the real world.

4. FILMEIN SIRF TEEN CHEEZON KE WAJAH SE CHALTI HAI...ENTERTAINMENT, ENTERTAINMENT, ENTERTAINMENT

Noooo! A film with just entertainment and no sense at all is most likely to get rejected by the majority of the audience. So, we really don’t say entertainment is the only thing required, unlike Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture.

5. DON KO PAKADNA MUSHKIL HI NAHI NAMUMKIN HAI

In 2022, we know it is possible to do so. And people hardly call themselves 'Don' these days.

6. AAP HUMSE HUMARI ZINDAGI MAANG LETE, HUM AAPKO KHUSHI KHUSHI DE DETE. PAR AAPNE TO HUMSE HUMARA GUROOR HI CHHEEN LIYA

From the movie Bajirao Mastani, this dialogue became quite popular. But no matter how madly, deeply we fall in love, this is something we would never say.

7. JAB KOI PYAR MEIN HOTA HAI; TOH KOI SAHI GALAT NAHIN HOTA

Jab We Met was a decent watch back then. But this dalouge is not of any use. Try saying koi sahi galat nahin hota to your partner and a big argument will wait for you.

8. MANNE EK PAPPI CHAIYE...PUPPY, MATLAB KUTTE KA CHHOTA BACHCHA?

This dialogue from Dhadak is nothing but crap. No one on earth will ever say this when asked for a kiss.

9. TUM OXYGEN AUR MAIN DOUBLE HYDROGEN. HAMARI CHEMISTRY BILKUL PANI KI TARAH HAI

PSA: Guys, please don’t try this pick-up line if you don’t want rejection. For those who don't know, this dialogue is from the movie Hasee Toh Phasee.

10. MAIN DIKHTA HOON SWEET, INNOCENT, SWAMI TYPE KA NA ... LEKIN ACTUALLY HOON BAHUT BADE HARAMI TYPE KA

Another Bollywood-inspired pick-up line that does not deserve a place in this world. Trust me, this will never help you get the girl. But helped Varun Dhawan in Main Tera Hero.

11. MAINE USKE DIL KI HARD DISK MEIN, FAREB KA VIRUS PEHLE HI DETECT KAR LIYA THA

Wait, what!? I know you read this twice or maybe thrice to understand the meaning. So, Vivek Oberoi in the movie Prince said this weird line. Hello Bollywood, I have a genuine question - Is he a man or an anti-virus? But then, Prince was a cult for its own reasons. The dialogues sure were part of it apart from, you know, Vivek Oberoi saying Chhod di khudaai maine tere liye...

12. PARAMPARA, PRATISHTHA, ANUSHASAN. YE IS GURUKUL KE TEEN STAMBH HAI

This only happens in the gurukul of Mohabbatein. Today's kids are more chill than ever and schools with such 'stambhs' are hard to find.

13. INSAAN KA EMOTION MOTION KE SAATH JUDA HUA HAIN

Amitabh Bachchan from Piku was too attached to his loo. But this dialogue, despite being couched in science, is not really the kind of description you'd want in your daily life... least of all at the dining table!

14. TUMHE KOI HAQ NAHI KI TUM ITNI KHOOBSURAT LAGO

Another clarification, we don't use this dialogue by Poo while looking at ourselves in the mirror. (If you do, then that's another story.)

15. AAPKE PAON DEKHE, BAHUT HASEEN HAI. INHE ZAMEEN PAR MAT UTARIYEGA, MAILE HO JAYENGE

Okay, this is a classic one from Pakeezah, a 1972 film starring Ashok Kumar, Meena Kumari and Raaj Kumar. But again, no guy will ever use this in 2022. Although we're not sure if anyone ever used this, even back in 1972.

16. WAQT RUKTA NAHI, BEET JATA HAI AUR KHARACH HUM HO JAATE HAI

Honestly, there are many impressive dialogues in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I know this is deep but too hard to fit into conversations, Insta captions or midnight stories.

17. HUMEIN APNE GAAL PE THAPAD SE ZYADA USKE GAAL PE PUPPY KA SUKH THA

Raanjhanaa, again is a decent - problematic, but decent - movie with nice dialogues. But no guy will ever celebrate a slap from a crush like Kundan did.

18. MUJH PAR EK EHSAAN KARNA KI MUJH PAR KOI EHSAAN NA KARNA

This dialogue from Bodyguard is one of the many senseless ones from Salman Khan's movies. And still famous.

19. KHOOBSURAT LADKIYAN JAB JHOOTH BOLTI HAIN TOH WO AUR BHI KHOOBSURAT LAGTI HAIN

No, this is not true and I think no one would ever dare to say this to a khoobsurat girl. Many weird things happened in the film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. And this is one of them. Tuffy would agree.

20. JO BAAT HAMARI SAMAJH NAHI AATI USSE HUM BEZZATI SAMJHTE HAI

This one is from Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Tashan. Well, TBH jo baat hamari samajh nhi aati we ask it again and clarify. It is not an insult for sure.

This is our list, if you would like to add to this, drop a comment.
