Something has really gotten Gauti's goat.
Yes, cricketer Gautam Gambhir is the latest one to join the chorus of "leave the country" against "anti-Indians". After a video, which shows a mob heckling, kicking and abusing a CRPF jawan purportedly in Kashmir, went viral, Gambhir lost his cool and tweeted strong messages condemning the incident.
For every slap on my army's Jawan lay down at least a 100 jihadi lives. Whoever wants Azadi LEAVE NOW! Kashmir is ours. #kashmirbelongs2us — Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) April 13, 2017
Anti-Indians hav forgotten dat our flag also stands 4: saffron - fire of our anger, white - shroud for jihadis, green - hatred 4 terror.
— Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) April 13, 2017
The veracity of the video couldn't be independently verified by DailyO.
Gambhir was joined by none other than his once opening partner Virender Sehwag.
This is Unacceptable ! Cant do this to our CRPF jawaans .This rot has to stop. Badtameezi ki hadd hai. pic.twitter.com/rZbqGbXk6O

Of course, there were some who didn't quite agree with the cricketers.

@_deepaktiwari @GautamGambhir Of course very upset but these kind of thoughtless reactions add fuel to fires. We need more sensibility and less conflagaratory thought

@virendersehwag Ur jawans r clearly unacceptable by the people of Kashmir. They should get the fuck out of their land or they will face severe consequences

Earlier, after the video surfaced on social media, the CRPF PRO Bhavesh Kumar said they were trying to ascertain the exact location of the video and who has uploaded it.
"This video is not made by our security personnel. We also got this through the social media. An unknown person has made this video and uploaded it. After seeing the circumstances, we think that this can be from some area of Budgam. We are trying to ascertain the exact location," he was quoted as saying by the ANI.
