Time spent with your mother is always special, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no exception.

Modi's nonagenarian mother, Heeraben, recently visited the PM's residence at 7 Race Course Road for the first time, and the prime minister's joy knew no bounds. He personally took her around the campus.

Modi posted images of his mother and himself at his official residence on Facebook which have been going viral on social media. Modi wrote: "My mother returns to Gujarat. Spent quality time with her after a long time & that too on her 1st visit to RCR."

The prime minister had often mentioned the hardships that his mother endured to bring him up, and had often become emotional talking about her.
