In what was a particularly monumental week for news, we open at the close: the Panama Papers leak.

This could be the most important news story in a decade as 370 journalists across the world worked for nearly a year to expose how the mighty of the world evade taxes and launder money while the rest of use fill reimbursement forms.

Russian president Vladimir Putin, Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif, football icon Lionel Messi, Bollywood actor and Indian president probable Amitabh Bachchan are among those who feature in the greatest internal document leak in human history.

We don't know what the legal implications of the Panama Papers will be, but this surely clears up one thing: The barbershop banter about rich people colluding in corruption is all true.

2.    It's skyfall for Kolkata

A flyover collapsed in Kolkata forcing Mamata Banerjee to end her election trip.

27 people have died and over a 100 are recovering after an under construction flyover collapsed in Kolkata last Thursday.

These were people who left for work in the morning and died as the sky fell over them.

No feeling, no memory. Plain nothingness.

The company constructing the flyover called it an "act of god", our politicians started blaming each other for it.

3.    Justin Trudeau is the (hottest) bae

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is many things; bros with Barack Obama, optimistic about the upcoming American elections (LOL), super nice to refugees but he's also a yogi!

Trudeau added to his ever growing fan base some yoga practitioners and Sanghis in India when a 2013 photo of him doing the "Peacock" or "mayurasana" went viral this week.

Heck, he's so fly that he tweeted it out himself.

He has already won Indian hearts with his now famous Bhangra video and if he continues down this path, he will soon become everyone's fav state head with Obama on the out and things looking pretty dark in the US of A.

4.    West Indians are just cool

Who knew Dwayne Bravo was a super talented musician?

West Indies won the T20 World Cup on Sunday but the story about them is the Champion Song.

Bravo didn't care for the start of the World Cup and just went out there and called himself a Champion in an "I-CANT-STOP-DOING-THIS-DANCE-STEP" music video.

What a time to be alive, eh?

"Everybody know Bravo is a Champion, Chris Gayle is a Champion, Michael Jordan is champion, Obama is a champion, Mandela is a Champion."
