Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan: Is this Bollywood's dating 2.0?
It all began there — one and a half month ago.
Is this how dating has become in 2019 — in Bollywood?
Sara Ali Khan, in her first appearance both on national television and on Koffee with Karan, revealed that she wanted to go on a coffee date with actor Kartik Aaryan.
Not many people were familiar with the name, including Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan who was sharing the coffee couch with Sara.
Karan Johar, interestingly, who knew Kartik — the Sonu ke Titu ki sweety star — though didn't seem visibly impressed by Sara’s dating choice.
So, it all began there — one and a half month ago.
Now, as we closely watched, took notes and memorised every detail of where this 'gossip' would lead us to, we have recently come to know that Kartik is all game for a coffee date with Sara Ali Khan. Sara has to just inform him the date and the coffee shop.

Before you close your eyes to wish happiness for this young jodi, let us explain to you that the duo has apparently never talked to each other.
Karan Johar, the media, Ranveer Singh are all the people who apparently mediated between them. Also, Imtiaz Ali and the wings of rumours!
According to rumours, Imtiaz Ali was even planning to cast Kartik and Sara in his sequel to Love Aaj Kal.
So, even if they start dating each other, it would be a collective effort and the contribution of media will be remembered forever.
Otherwise, who would have asked Sara Ali Khan every time she makes a public appearance about Kartik? And every time she blushed (for prospective directors?).
Last time, she was asked whether the duo has approached each other on social media, you won’t believe what her answer was.
No, no, no... how much! I have said it everywhere. Itna bhi desparate nahi. Mom said you must wait. So, I am waiting!

Then Kartik Aryan was recently asked about Sara. Here’s what he said:
As far as the coffee date is concerned, Sara’s mother (Amrita Singh) has told her that ‘you should stop talking about it because you have said it many times and now let Kartik react on it’. So, I can just say that I am ready for a coffee date. Sara just needs to tell me the time and place.
Meanwhile, at an award function, Ranveer Singh introduced Sara Ali Khan with Kartik and forced them to sit together, as thousands of cameras watched.
Well, now we don’t even care whether you go on a coffee date or not, but we will be there!
