Elon Musk is rolling out new Twitter Verified on Dec 2, with checks and a colour code

You will now be able to see Twitter checks in an entire array of colours, from gold to grey. Twitter boss Elon Musk is tentatively launching Verified on December 2. Governments will get a grey check, companies will get a gold one; and for individuals, celebrity or not, it'll be the good ol' blue. All verified accounts will be manually verified, said Musk, before they are allowed a check. The $8 Verified program will be launched on Dec 2 after several hiccups.
