New Zealand defeated India by seven wickets in the first ODI on Friday (November 25) in Auckland to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Chasing India's 307-run target, New Zealand (309/3) won the game in 47.1 overs. India made 306/7 in 50 overs with Shreyas Iyer scoring 80, Shikhar Dhawan 72 and Shubman Gill making 50.
