As always, India's air quality has worsened in autumn with cities like Delhi and Mumbai facing severe air pollution. Here are a few cities that remain safe and enjoyable to visit even during this period.

Silchar, the second-largest city in Assam, is by the Barak River near Bangladesh. Known for its picturesque beauty, Silchar has 'good' air quality, making it an ideal place to visit.
Sivsagar, a town in Assam with Ahom dynasty roots, features historical sites like forts and temples. Its air quality is categorized as good or moderate.
