Located in Pattadakal, Karnataka, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 8th century by Queen Lokamahadevi, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Another UNESCO World Heritage site,. It is a stepwell in Patan, Gujarat, built in the 11th century by Queen Udayamati. It served as a memorial for her husband.

Moti Masjid or Pearl Mosque in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, was constructed in the 19th century by Sikander Begum, the daughter of Qudsia Begum and ruler of Bhopal.

Also known as the ?size=*:900'Baby Taj?size=*:900', this is a magnificent mausoleum in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Built in the 17th century, it was commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father.

4. Itimad-ud-Daulah

Yet again a UNESCO site, Humayun?size=*:900's Tomb is a mausoleum in Delhi; commissioned in the 16th century by Empress Bega Begum, the chief wife of Emperor Humayun.

Situated in Karnataka, it was built by Queen Chennabhairadevi of the Gersoppa dynasty in the 16th century.

Located on the banks of River Ganga, this famous temple in West Bengal was built in 1855 by Rani Rashmoni, a philanthropist and ardent devotee of Goddess Kali.

7. DAKSHINESHWAR MANDIR

Located in the beautiful Gulmarg, in Kashmir, this temple was Constructed in 1915 by Maharani Mohini Bai Sisodia, the wife of Raja Hari Singh.
