Despite rampant habitat loss and poaching, these countries have managed to maintain some of the largest elephant populations in 2023 through their conservation efforts. Have a look.

Botswana has the highest elephant population in 2023, with a total of 130,000 elephants.

1. BOtsWANA

With over a 100,000 elephants, Zimbabwe ranks second on the list.
