Gandhi has only worn a white T-shirt throughout Bharat Jodo Yatra. It gained popularity when he reached December-cold Delhi.

But it turns out that it was not a jacket, but a windcheater. Rahul Gandhi wore the windcheater as it started raining in Kathua during the march.
Here, he is seen taking off the windcheater/raincoat once it stopped raining.
RG vowed to not wear warm clothes after meeting girls wearing torn clothes in freezing MP. He said he won't put on a jacket till they were in torn clothes.
The maximum temperature in Kathua is around 12 degree Celsius, while the minimum is 8 degrees.
Bharat Jodo Yatra was temporarily suspended after Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary died while walking with RG. It was resumed after the MP's cremation.
Bharat Jodo Yatra began on Sep 7, 2022, in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Now, it has reached J&K, having covered the length of the country.
A snow path awaits Gandhi as he carries on with the march. 2024 is just round the corner. Will RG's display of empathy translate into votes at the election?
