hesaraghatta lake

Located 30 km from Bengaluru city, Hesaraghatta lake is popular among bird watchers. There is also an aquarium near the lake.

horsley hills

Less than 150 km from Bengaluru lies Horsley Hills in Andhra Pradesh. The hills are a perfect package of vast landscape, waterfalls, an ancient temple and a zoo.

Mekedatu is 100 km from Bengaluru. You have to trek 5 km through a dense forest to reach Mekedatu. The Cauvery passes through a narrow crevice here.
