What people tell me about their first kiss

I have continued my exploration of first kiss stories, continuing to pound the pavement in New York City, stopping every stranger I can and asking them about their first smooch. Here are some recent highlights.

1. "He got better"

These kids are adorable. Probably the most adorable part is they are too young to realise how adorable they are.

You know you are getting older when you can see young lovers, and their presence.

2. "I'm too smooth"

This is the epitome of youthful confidence. This boy knows "he's too smooth," and he hasn't had the experience yet to beat that view out of him. Perhaps I'm selling him short though, and his experiences actually just reinforce his ideas in which case all the power to the player.

3. "I hated his guts"

Being a middle school sucks. Kids are cruel to each other, and all too often it's cause they actually like each other. I'd like to think we get better as we age, but as a 36 year bachelor, perhaps I'm wrong.

4. There's no greater threat to women than men

To quote Louis CK, "How do women still go out with guys, when you consider that there is no greater threat to women than men? We’re the number one threat to women! Globally and historically, we’re the number one cause of injury and mayhem to women. You know what our number one threat to men is? Heart disease.”

5. Old-school lesbian story

Saving the best for last. These ladies are so cute and so in love. Watching their video makes me smile every time.
