The government's been on a banning spree since we rang in the New Year, controlling what we eat, think and see. The weeks that followed Valentine's Day, which is also banned in some metros of this country, saw six bans being imposed on eating and selling beef, a documentary on rape, a Bollywood film about politics. It didn't even find a comedy show for charity funny.

The enthusiasm over bans, however, did not extend to slamming hate-speech, church-burning, or even sexism in Parliament. As we brace ourselves for ban after ban, here's a song our ban experts can identify with, by artist Bhuvan Bam.
