Samir Patham (32) and Sauraj Jhingan (30), both directors of Adventure Pulse, were on an expedition to summit Mount Everest when the earthquake took place. They decided to stay back and help out with the rescue efforts.
Their tents are presently located at the mouth of the Khumbu icefall. They were able to recover 75 per cent of their equipment and materials and some food rations once the avalanche took place. Their efforts in rescuing the mountaineers is commendable to say the least.
