Paris attacks: How Arab cartoonists expressed solidarity with France

A day after the brutal massacre and multiple bomb attacks in Paris, people around the world are coming together to express their grief for France. Many historic buildings across the globe lit up in the French tricolor in the remembrance of all those people, who died in the attack led by the ISIS. Even Arab cartoonists came together to express their sympathy with France, with several cartoons wrapped in political foil.

Carlos Latuff, an Arab-Brazilian cartoonist drew French President Hollande igniting the fire first in Syria, to which the IS retaliated in France:

Jordanian cartoonist Osama Hajjaj drew Paris as a beautiful woman, hiding her face and crying vigorously while holding the French flag.

Some newspapers carried cartoons depicting how the world is more sensitive towards Paris attacks than regular bombings and suicide attacks in other nations like Libya, Syria, Beirut and Iraq.

Ala al-Luqta drew a cartoon, showing a Palestinian man, with arrows in his back saying “We refuse the terrorist bombings in Paris".
