Flipkart 2018 Mobile Bonanza: 5 best deals you can get right now
We are barely into the first week of 2018, and the year's first major e-commerce sale is here already. Flipkart on Wednesday kicked off its "2018 Mobiles Bonanza" sale where it's offering a number of sought-after smartphones at extremely attractive prices.
The three-day long sale that ends on January 5, 2018 brings with itself discounts and offers on devices from manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Samsung, Honor, Apple, and Google. The sale also sees the e-commerce portal offering buyback guarantee, damage protection and extended warranty services.
Here's a look at the top five deals you can get your hands on right now.
Xiaomi Mi A1
The Mi A1 boasts of flagship-worthy specs and comes sporting Xiaomi's trusted 5.5-inch 1080p display protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass sheet that has previously been seen on phones like the Redmi Note 4.
At the bottom, there's a speaker grille, a USB-Type C port along with a 3.5 mm jack while the microphone and the infrared sensors have been placed at the top of the device.
Under the hood, the phone comes packing under the hood Xiaomi's trusted octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The next phone to be offered at an extremely attractive price during the sale is the Pixel 2. The device is available at a flat discount of Rs 13,001 plus Rs 800 cashback if the order is placed using an HDFC credit card, bringing its effective price down to Rs 39,000.
Suffice to say this is a very good price for a phone originally launched at Rs 61,000 and boasting of a spec sheet that includes a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm's top-of-the-line 835 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage along with what is arguably the best rear camera setup on a phone available in the market right now – 12.2-Megapixel f/1.8 aperture lens with autofocus along with laser and dual-pixel phase detection.
