iPhones for the longest have been deemed fragile. Apple, however, changed that this year. It uses a new kind of metal casing which makes it incredibly sturdy. Apple has also added a protective gasket inside the body, which provides it protection from liquids. Don't believe us, people have even tried boiling their new iPhone 6S, and it has still worked. There are videos on YouTube which prove the same.
But guys, don't forget, it is a phone. Yes, a phone from the most admired tech company in the world, but it is still a phone. It can't survive lava. If you're stupid enough to put a phone into molten lava like this video showcases, then the phone will meet its end. It is not designed for such things.
These days it appears people will do anything to a phone to get some free publicity and views on YouTube. Last year, people deliberately started attempting to bend the iPhone which created a fiasco known as #BendGate leading Apple to strengthen the phone this year.
People have destroyed the iPhone in YouTube videos by shooting with an AK-47.
But if you attempt to burn your phone in molten lava even the masters at Cupertino will not be able to help you. If you leave the gadget in lava, you will get more lava. It is a gadget, and you should leave it alone. It is not supposed to be Air Force One you know.
