How people on Twitter defended Modi's 'raincoat' barb against former PM Manmohan Singh

The innocuous raincoat was literally caught in the rain (of words) and then wrung dry following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's latest jibe at his predecessor Manmohan Singh.

While a much-irked Congress has demanded that Modi apologises for using such “ugly” language against a former PM, not everybody seems to agree that the comment was entirely unacceptable.

Here's how Twitter — the ultimate umbrella organisation for grievance redressal — was flooded with people defending their Prime Minister.

As the ruling BJP and the Congress enter another war of words over something which hardly matters to the common man, we wonder if it's the raincoat which should actually take offence, forget the taxpayers losing money on House squabbles.
