IN LONDON

James Cameron returns to the Avatar franchise 13 years after  the first film released.

Avatar: The Way of the Water premiered at London's Odeon Luxe on Dec 6 in an event attended by the cast and crew.

Zoe Saldana returns as Ney'tiri, the Na'vi warrior from the first film.

Surprisingly, Stephen Lang is also returning as a "resurrected version" of the first film's villain.

Early reviews of the film are largely positive, mostly for the 3D and "family saga" dynamic. 

Collecting $2.9 billion at the box office, Avatar is still the highest-grossing film of all time. 

With the global release slated for Dec 16, would Avatar 2 repeat the first part's success?
