Bigg Boss 9: Hotel of horrors, heavy petting and the troublesome two
Welcome to the Bigg Boss 9 hotel of horrors. Here is where uncivilised guests ask you to perform demeaning tasks like being their personal pet and removing clothes for the sake of "entertainment".
Bigg Boss' new Luxury Budget task took a toll on the tolerance levels of the contestants in the house, turning Rishabh and Mandana into villains. In the second and final day of the Budget task, Kishwar was asked, rather ordered to be Rishabh's pet dog and was required to fetch a plastic bone that he continued to throw for three hours straight as other contestants helplessly looked on.
The troublesome two were given a secret mission to two house members to quit the task. But nobody expected the duo to react the way they did. An adamant Kishwar refused to give in and kept up her act bravely by fetching the bone, even jumping into the swimming pool without complaining. Meanwhile Mandana asked Aman to give her a foot message.
Relief came in the form of ex-contestant Andy checking into the hotel. A burst of energy that Andy is, he assured Suyyash that he would not swoop down to the levels of Rishabh and Mandana while assigning tasks. He instead chose to entertain himself by asking Rochelle and Keith to perform a steamy dance routine in the pool. The couple happily obliged.
As Andy returned, another old contestant, Ali Quli came inside the house. Quli confessed to stalking Rimi Sen and told us the elaborate story of chasing her in Mumbai gyms. Rimi, who chose to ignore Quli, was seen giving him a shoulder massage later. Quli was then joined by actor Sana Khan, who viewers will remember as Salman's favourite in Season 7 and known for being clueless and efficacious in the Bigg Boss house.
Scheming guests made it difficult for the hotel staff to hold their fort. Though Aman shaving off his hair did surprise the guests, they were successful in making Yuvika, Rimi and Digangana (who were asked to wear a swimsuit) resign.
With the secret mission being accomplished, Mandana and Rishabh became safe from evictions, while Prince, unsuccessful as a hotel manager, found himself in the elimination round. Irked, hassled and appalled by Rishabh's performance during the task, Prince decided to confront him many times during the day. Losing his cool, he finally warned Rishabh to show respect to the women in the house and not mess with him. Mandana too came in the line of fire as Digangana, Kishwar and Yuvika blamed her for letting Rishabh treat Kishwar like a dog.
Luxury Budget tasks always bring out the best and the worst in the contestants. This time it has divided the house in two camps, Contestants versus the troublesome two, Rishabh and Mandana. The bad boy and girl image will get the voters voting for the two, but for now they are the most hated. Time will tell if they redeem themselves.
