KP Mathur
Dr KP Mathur joined the Safdarjung Hospital as a physician in 1953. When Indira Gandhi became PM in 1966, Dr Mathur took charge as her physician in an association that lasted for almost 20 years. He was one of the last people to meet Indira Gandhi before she was assassinated.
