Brahmastra trailer: Twitter lauds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

Ranbir Kapoor is finally back after four years. After Sanju, Ranbir and Alia will star in Brahmastra – Part 1: Shiva. The trailer of the movie was released on June 14.

Written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, the fantasy adventure film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Telugu film superstar Nagarjuna,  

Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Ayan Mukerji, the film is is slated to release in cinemas on September 9, 2022.

The last time Ranbir starred in an Ayan Mukherji movie was in Yeh Jawani Hai Jawani (2013).  The movie was blockbuster. Before that, Ranbir and Ayan had worked together in Wake Up Sid (2009).

The trailer of Brahmastra has created a lot of buzz on social media.

Ranbir, in an interview to Mid-Day, said that director Ayan Mukerji spent six years of his life writing this triology that will be made over a span of 10 years. He also said that this is not just a superhero movie but a supernatural romantic fairytale at heart.

The film is a first installment of the planned triology written by Ayan Mukerji.
