Marvel Studio’s Ms Marvel released its first episode on Disney+Hotstar on Thursday (June 9). Like Black Panther and Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings, the entire cast of Ms Marvel is South Asian.
The show features actors Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Yasmeen Fletcher and Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar.
In a new clip released by Disney+Hotstar on Wednesday (June 8), Akhtar makes his first appearance. This is the first time a Bollywood actor has made an appearance in a MCU show.

Akhtar was seen in robes, portraying the role of philosopher and heard saying 'what you seek, is seeking you'. On June 7, Akhtar also released a note on his Twitter account, thanking all of his co-stars.

Other than Akhtar, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is expected to also make a special appearance in the show.
Ms Marvel is based on Kamala Khan’s journey to becoming Ms Marvel, the first Muslim South-Asian superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
