Arnab Goswami isn't a liar. He covered Gujarat riots, World War II and alien invasion

This is embarassing.

On September 19, India Today TV consulting editor Rajdeep Sardesai erroneously attempted to expose Arnab Goswami for falsely claiming to have gone through a “harrowing experience” while covering the Gujarat riots of 2002. At the time, Sardesai and Goswami were colleagues at NDTV.

According to Republic TV editor, his office car was mobbed by trishul-wielding rioters on a killing spree. They were stopped and asked what their religion was.

Sardesai claims that the incident was, in fact, something he and his colleagues had experienced, and Goswami was supposedly nowhere in the scene. At first, it seemed obvious like it does to any simple-minded bloke that Goswami is lying, but with some hectic research (basically, searching on Google Images), I found that the opposite is true.
