Bigg Boss 11 blog: Why Arshi will become the new captain
No matter how much the housemates try to conceal their intentions, Bigg Boss ends up exposing their true colours, and this week’s captaincy task is a true game-changer.
The housemates have been given the task of babysitting. But it is tricky. The babies are miniature dolls of other contestants and the Bigg Boss has decided who will take care of whom. One has to take care of the babies and as the buzzer rings, they have to rush to park the prams in the lawn area. And no, the one reaching last will not be out from the captaincy race. The baby he or she is taking care of will.
Now, get your calculations clear: Priyank gets Puneesh’s doll, Arshi gets Shilpa’s doll, Luv gets Vikas’s doll, Akash has Hiten’s doll, Shilpa has Priyank’s pram, Hiten has Hina’s pram, Vikas has Arshi’s pram, Hina has Akash’s doll, and Puneesh has Luv’s pram. All grouping inside Bigg Boss House demolished and regrouping starts.
Hiten, Shilpa, Puneesh, Akash out of captaincy race
As soon as the task starts, Priyank makes it clear that he doesn’t want Puneesh to be the captain and fails to reach the parking area. Tempers start rising as everybody walks up to their respective babysitter and asks them to give their best. And then of course, Arshi, who has sworn-enemy Shilpa’s doll, drowns and damages it, moving Shilpa out of the race. Akash, too, tells Hiten that he finds no interest in taking care of Hiten’s doll and just gives up, pushing Hiten out of the race. “You are a loser,” angry Hiten tells Akash. Hina was looking for a chance to dump Akash’s doll. And then Akash says he is not interested in becoming the captain. So now, Hina, Arshi, Priyank, Luv, Vikas are in the race.
Vikas acts like the boss
Throughout the December 5 episode, Vikas acts like a true boss and plots for the bigger picture. Vikas tells Puneesh to think smartly if he wants to survive. Puneesh says he wants to see Arshi win. Vikas says Luv should not win, and then Luv comes to Vikas asking for his doll to be saved, which was in Puneesh’s pram. Vikas can’t turn down the request, as Luv is carrying Vikas’s doll. Arshi asks Vikas to save her doll, and Vikas says he will make it reach the top three. But after that, no one can guarantee what will happen. Priyank too comes to Vikas seeking help.
Meanwhile, housemates plot to block the roads to the parking area when the buzzer rings.
Vikas makes it clear that he doesn’t want to save Arshi’s doll. But then, who knows what he has up his sleeves? In all probability, Arshi might become the captain.
Hiten, Hina’s ugly spat drops hints that it’s Arshi
The preview of the next episode reveals that tonight, Hiten and Hina are going to lock horns over the captaincy task. Hina wants to be the captain and she has already told Hiten that she won’t be able block anybody else’s road to make way for Hiten, so that she can win. She convinces Hiten and Vikas that she will become a better captain. But then the preview drops enough hints that Hiten might have changed sides, and if that’s true, Arshi will become the next captain.
Why does Shilpa want to save Puneesh?
In an interesting twist, Priyank, whose doll is in Shilpa’s custody, tells her to save the doll as he wants to be the captain. And Shilpa asks, “Will you save Puneesh during nomination if you become the captain?” Well, Priyank says “yes”, but in a non-committal way. Does Shilpa know that Puneesh, on the other hand, tells Vikas that he wants Arshi to win?
Arshi, Shilpa won’t patch up
Akash wants to sort out matters between Shilpa and Arshi. He takes Shilpa out in the garden area and requests her to forgive Arshi, who is also there. Shilpa refuses and Arshi starts hurling abuses. Akash apologises to Shilpa for trying to make amends.
All said and done, they are pathetic baby-sitters!
