As we reach peak technology, as Tinder takes over the dating scene, there is a greater chasm in the way people meet each other romantically.

A certain set of people uses Tinder, a certain set uses Facebook and some other people use their parents and aunties.

In a country as culturally and socially diverse as India, every right swipe on Tinder or a "will you be friends with me?" on Facebook is like buying a lottery ticket: you don't know what's going to happen, but it's a lot of fun.

Tinder is quickly becoming the go to app for online dating.

People these days seem to have become less adventurous in their search for love. Sure, the whole "you don't need anyone to be happy" narrative is cool, but loneliness is an actual thing that more people suffer from now than ever before.

We're living in fascinating times and the search for things that single people want has become more complicated and uncomplicated at the same time.

What are you doing about it and how are you going about meeting new people? Online dating? Asking friends to introduce? Asking parents for arranged marriage?

It's a very loaded question and incredibly modern because this individual is actually asking help from strangers to introduce him to people.
