In recent years, K-Pop has revolutionised the global music scene, captivating hearts worldwide. The Billboard Music Awards, a pinnacle ceremony in the industry, now serve as a stage for K-pop stars to shine and be rightfully recognised.

Let's explore the K-pop wins at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

1. Jungkook - Global K-Pop Song

 The global K-pop sensation, BTS member Jungkook, achieved a solo win at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.


His song "Seven," featuring American rapper Latto, secured the title of Global K-Pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

Making his solo debut in 2023, he has rapidly climbed the ladder of success, consistently winning awards in global music competitions.

2. BLACKPINK - Top K-Pop Touring Artist

The powerhouse girl group BLACKPINK made a lasting impact at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards by winning the "Top K-Pop Touring Artist" award. This historic achievement underscores their global influence and massive fanbase.

BLACKPINK's Born Pink world tour, spanning almost a year from October 15, 2022, to September 17, 2023, solidified their position as one of the leading touring artists in the K-pop industry.

3. Stray Kids - Best K-Pop Album

Later in the evening, the K-pop boy group Stray Kids secured the Top K-Pop Album award for their album '5-Star.'

Stray Kids also graced the 2023 Billboard Music Awards stage, delivering dynamic performances of their popular tracks 'S-Class' and 'LALALALA' from the albums '5-Star' and 'ROCK-STAR,' respectively.

4. New Jeans - Top Global K-Pop Artist

The emerging group New Jeans, considered part of the fourth generation of K-pop rookies, celebrated their first triumph as the "Top Global K-pop Artist" at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.


 Making their debut in 2022 under ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE LABELS, the five-member girl group—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein—has gained popularity for embodying a relatable "girl-next-door" image.

The girls delivered a captivating performance during the event, and Billboard has unveiled the video capturing their performance and acceptance speech.
