Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fezco "Fez" O'Neill in HBO's acclaimed series Euphoria, died at the young age of 25 yesterday (July 31), leaving fans and the entertainment community in shock. A possible drug overdose is suspected as the cause of death.

Subsequently, they revealed that Angus had been battling severe suicidal thoughts after returning from Ireland, where he had recently laid his father to rest.

As a rising star, Angus Cloud's future in the entertainment industry looked promising.

Cloud's journey into acting began unexpectedly when he was approached by a casting agent while working at a chicken and waffle joint. His talent and dedication earned him the role of Fezco, propelling him into stardom.

His chemistry and friendship with co-star Maude Apatow, who played Lexi, Fezco's love interest, translated into their on-screen dynamic as "Flexi." Their relationship on the show was admired by fans for its innocence and sweetness.

In an interview with Variety in August 2022, Cloud expressed his frustration with fans who compared him to his character, Fezco. He emphasized that he brought a lot to the role and was not simply portraying himself. Despite the challenges, he hoped he did a good job and aspired not to be limited to a single type of character in his acting career.

"There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”
