Farhan Akhtar’s character Waleed is introduced on Ms Marvel, but there's a small error

A still from Ms. Marvel's fourth episode

Ms Marvel is creating a buzz these days. The fourth episode aired on Disney+ on June 29, 2022. In the fourth episode, the show went into a full desi mode. The latest episode also came with a big surprise for the audience with the introduction of Farhan Akhtar’s character. Farhan Akhtar is playing the role of Waleed in the American television miniseries.

In the teaser for the fourth episode, Farhan introduces himself saying, “My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother's story is of legend. When you're ready, we have much to discuss.”

BUT

The Marvel Studio goofed up Farhan’s name in the description on YouTube. His name was misspelled as Farout Akhtar (which he writes on his social media) instead of Farhan Akhtar. The description of the video reads, “Check out Farout Akhtar and Aramis Knight in a brand new episode of Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel, streaming tomorrow on Disney+.”

However, this spelling error has been fixed now.

There are a few more South Asian actors that are to appear on the show. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actor Mohan Kapur are also a part of the series.

The series will also feature Indian and Pakistani songs. The Instagram famous Pasoori has also been featured in episode 4.

Ms Marvel is the first series by Marvel Cinematic Universe to feature a Muslim superhero. The story revolves around a Pakistani-origin girl in the US who has superpowers. The first episode of the series was released on June 8. The show is streaming in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.
